Prices shown to renters on Storefront already include a service fee, usually 20% of the listing owner's price. Where VAT applies, it is added to your final quote.
What the service fee covers:
Access to Storefront's marketplace and thousands of vetted short-term spaces worldwide.
Secure online payment processing and booking management tools.
Customer support throughout the booking process and during your rental.
Dispute resolution and mediation if issues arise between renters and listing owners.
Example:
If a listing owner sets their price at $500 per day, renters see $600 per day: the owner's $500 plus Storefront's 20% service fee of $100. The listing owner receives the full $500.
For listing owners:
You receive the price you set on your listing. Storefront's service fee is added on top of your price and paid by the renter, so it is not deducted from your payout. When you send a quote through Storefront, the service fee is added automatically and shown to the renter.
