A video tour lets renters walk through your space before they contact you. You only need the link to the video — no embed code, no HTML.

Where to add the video URL

Open the user menu, go to Your Listings and select your space, then open Manage your listing and the Space Description section. Paste your link into Add/update a virtual tour url (optional) and save.

If you are still creating the listing, the same field appears next to your photos as Add a virtual tour URL (optional).

Paste the link exactly as your video host gives it to you. You do not need to convert it into an embed link — we do that for you.

What happens after you save

Changes to the Space Description section are reviewed by the Storefront team within 3 business days before they appear on your public listing page. Once they are live, the video is shown as the large first tile of your photo gallery.

Which video hosts are supported

  • YouTube — paste the normal link from your browser's address bar or from the Share button.

  • Vimeo — paste the normal link to the video. The video also has to be allowed to play on other websites, which is a setting on Vimeo's side — see the next section.

  • Matterport — use the share link for the 3D showcase, the one that looks like my.matterport.com/show/?m=...

  • Other virtual tour tools (Cupix, EasyPano and similar) — these work only if the tool gives you a direct player link that is allowed to be displayed on another website. A link to a page on the tool's own site will not play.

A listing can show one video or virtual tour at a time.

Vimeo: allow your video to be embedded

If your listing shows "Because of privacy settings, this video cannot be played here", your link is fine — the video's privacy settings on Vimeo are blocking it. Change them on Vimeo:

  1. Sign in to Vimeo and open the video.

  2. Go to Settings.

  3. Open the Privacy tab.

  4. Under Where can this be embedded?, choose Anywhere.

  5. Save your changes.

Check Who can watch this video? in the same tab as well. Videos set to Private or Only me, and password-protected videos, will not play on your listing even when embedding is set to Anywhere.

Nothing needs to change on Storefront afterwards. Reload your listing page and the video will play.

If the video still does not appear

  • Open the link you pasted in a private browsing window. If it does not play there, it will not play on your listing either.

  • Check that the video has finished processing on the video host.

  • If you have only just saved the listing, remember that the change is reviewed before it goes live.

  • Make sure the field contains the URL only — no embed code and no extra text.

  • Still stuck? Contact our support team with your listing name and the link you used.
