Here's a summary of our Cancellation Policy for renters:

  • If you cancel thirty (30) days or more in advance of the Move-In Date, you'll be refunded 50% of your booking cost, minus the Service Fee.

  • Renters are not permitted to cancel less than thirty (30) days prior to their move-in date.

This is our standard cancellation policy, but if your listing owner requires you to sign a custom lease or license agreement, different cancellation terms may apply. If you need more flexibility to cancel, you are free to negotiate special cancellation terms when you sign a custom agreement.

How to cancel an inquiry (before booking is confirmed):

If you have sent an inquiry but have not yet confirmed a booking and no longer wish to proceed, you can cancel the inquiry directly from your messages. Open Projects from the top navigation bar, find the conversation with the listing owner, and click the Cancel inquiry button at the bottom of the page. This will close the conversation with the owner. No charges apply for cancelling an inquiry before a booking is confirmed.

How to cancel an event request (after booking is confirmed):

If your booking has already been confirmed and you need to cancel, the standard cancellation policy above applies. Contact support@thestorefront.com to initiate the cancellation and confirm your refund eligibility based on the timing of your request.
