Here's a summary of our Cancellation Policy for listing owners:
Cancellations by Space Owners
After a booking is made with Storefront, a Space Owner may cancel at any time, subject to the following terms:
Should the Space Owner cancel before the Move-In Date, the Space Owner shall refund to the Occupant (i) any and all funds received under this Agreement, and (ii) Storefront's fee which has been paid by the Occupant to Storefront. It is expressly noted that Storefront's fee will be retained by Storefront in such cases.
Should the Space Owner cancel on the Move-In Date or at any time thereafter, they shall only do so with thirty (30) days prior written notice to the Occupant, and the Space Owner shall pay to the Occupant all of the following: (1) a pro rata refund for all days less than the full term which the Occupant cannot occupy the Space due to early termination; (2) Early Revocation Damages equal to the pro rata refund above, paid in addition to the refund; (3) a fee equal to 20% of the total amount due under this agreement to recompense the Occupant for Storefront's fee, which will not otherwise be refunded.
Can a listing owner cancel a confirmed booking?
In limited circumstances, a listing owner may need to cancel after a booking has been confirmed. In such cases, the listing owner will be subject to the penalties described above, and the renter will receive a full refund of the booking cost. Where possible, Storefront will attempt to find a suitable alternative space for the renter. If Storefront is able to find an alternative, the Service Fee will be applied to the new booking; otherwise the Service Fee will also be refunded.
Please refer to our Terms of Service for the full cancellation policy.
