Here’s a summary of our Cancellation Policy for listing owners:
- If you cancel more than 30 days prior to the move-in date, you're required to fully refund any renter funds or deposits collected, but there is no fee.
- If you cancel less than 30 days prior to the renter’s move-in date, you're required to fully refund the renter’s funds or deposits, and you will be charged a cancellation fee equal to 20% of the total rental amount due.
- If you must cancel the event after the renter has occupied the space, you're required to fully refund any renter funds or deposits and will be charged a cancellation fee equal to 20% of the total rental amount due. You may also be required to cover the renter’s expenses with Early Revocation Damages, detailed in our full Cancellation Policy.
If a renter cancels their booking with you, you may be entitled to payment (or retention of a security deposit) in keeping with our Cancellation Policy.
This is our standard cancellation policy, but if you opt to sign a custom lease or license agreement, different cancellation terms may apply and therefore take precedence over our policy. If you need more flexibility to cancel, you are free to negotiate special cancellation terms when you sign a custom agreement.
